Menu Plan Monday

As a working mom, I usually walk in to my house after a long day at work, give my husband and sweet little boy a kiss, change in to my PJs and start cooking. The whole dinner process began to stress me out because I didn't have a plan. I never knew what I was going to cook. Frozen chicken just ain't easy to thaw in 10 minutes.

In January I decided my system (or lack of one) was flawed and chaotic so I took control and began planning my meals. When I saw this concept on I'm an organizing junkie I decided that these were women after my heart.

So my blog continues to evolve and today I am now proud to be a part of the Menu Plan Monday community. If any of ya'll visit my site, will you please say hello and make me feel special. It will rock my world to know that someone has read this.

Monday: Baked Spaghetti
Tuesday: Teriyaki Steak
Wednesday: Working Late (Hubby having hot dogs)
Thursday: Slow Cooker Bowtie Chicken
Friday: Eating Out
Saturday: Pizza (I could get inspired, but I doubt it.)

Welcome - I'm fairly new here myself. Good for you for taking control of the menu - it really does make life less stressful. That Slow-Cooker Bowtie Chicken looks great!

Welcome! Great menu plan. You are SO right, it makes a big difference to have a plan. I'm not always successful at sticking to mine, but at least I have one! lol. Good luck.

I've posted some links to more recipes. With the Shepherd's pie, I've posted a link, but for the "gravy", I really just add this and that and keep tasting it till it's good!

From one MPM newbie to another... welcome! Your bowtie chicken looks good -- maybe you'd share the recipe sometime?

Thanks, for all the comments. I haven't made the bow tie pasta yet but I'll post when I make. Let's hope it turns out great...cross fingers, say a little prayer...

Hi, Brooke. I am horrible at making pizza so it will be delivery all the way. Thanks for stopping by and saying hi.
